Iznik vase with blue and Red plums

This exquisite Iznik vase is part of my collection of beautiful ceramic pots which are wonderful to paint. I love to see the age of these ancient pieces and it makes me wonder about their story. The plums were picked fresh from my garden and painted directly from life in my studio.I feel that my still life paintings capture a moment in time and invoke a feeling of calm in a busy world
